Apple Invests in California Redwood Forest Conservation
Apple has announced a new investment to protect and restore 14,000 acres of coastal redwood forest in California through a partnership with The Conservation Fund. This project is part of Apple’s expanded Restore Fund initiative, which has invested in 24 conservation and regenerative agriculture projects across six continents since 2021. The initiative aims to scale global investment in nature-based carbon removal to help Apple achieve its goal of carbon neutrality by 2030, whilst also supporting local communities, economies, and biodiversity.
