Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Little Creamy’

Dawn Redwood

‘Little Creamy’ is a unique cultivar of Metasequoia glyptostroboides that was discovered in the Netherlands in 2001. As described by Auders & Spicer (2012), this selection is characterized by its slow growth rate and a very upright, compact habit with thick branches.

The new growth of ‘Little Creamy’ emerges a creamy white colour, which later develops into a white-green variegation on the foliage. The combination of its compact form and distinctive variegation sets ‘Little Creamy’ apart from other Dawn Redwood cultivars.
