Sequoia sempervirens ‘Steel Blue’

Coast Redwood

‘Steel Blue’ Coastal Redwood: A distinctive cultivar boasting fine-textured, steely blue foliage that surpasses even the renowned ‘Glauca’ in its blue hue. As the tree matures, its needles develop an increasingly powdery blue appearance. This slow-growing variety is reluctant to form an upright leader, resulting in a naturally prostrate habit. Versatile in form, it can be maintained as a low-growing specimen by removing any significant vertical shoots, or guided to develop into an elegant upright tree with proper care.
