Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘French Beauty’

Giant Redwood

Although its name might suggest otherwise, this selection was first listed by Dutch grower Piet Vergeldt in 2002. It is described as a slow-growing, broad-pyramidal plant with green foliage that is typically splashed with creamy white variegation. Over a period of ten years, it reaches a height of approximately 2.5 m and a width of 1.5 m (Auders & Spicer 2012).
